Hi, Ida, you made some very interesting points in your final exam (really another paper!). I like the paragraphs where you describe Marnie's reaction to color during the lightning storm. I also thought your description in Psycho of Lila going into the basement, and seeing the mothers skeleton, getting attacked by Norman and rescued by Sam was very interesting. RE: The Birds; did you know that Ub Ewerks, who worked on animation and sound (I think) on the film, was the original partner to Walt Disney, and sold his 50% of the company for a few thousand dollars? He wanted to start his own company, but didn't succeed. Later, he had to go to work for Disney, and others, I presume, such as Alfred Hitchcock. AlexH
